Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, playwright and teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk is child of a Briton as well as a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. When she was a girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna relocated to Toronto in Ontario for the purpose of pursuing her acting. Over the years following, she moved to Los Angeles.
